The flights arriving at Spain land in Madrid-Barajas airport. There are several options to make the trip in order to arrive at Salamanca from the Madrilenian Airport.

• Bus: The fastest and easy way is using Autores buses, who leave Madrid hourly from 7:00 to 22:00. Two hours is the average time in Express service. Buses are taken from the station of Conde de Casal (Underground: line 6).
• Train: Another possibility is to arrive at Salamanca by train. The trains start off from Chamartin station. The trip last two hours on average time and finishes in the RENFE Vialia station in Salamanca.
• Car: The last possibility to arrive at Salamanca. Barajas airport counts on different car rental companies. There is no freeway from Madrid to Salamanca, so that the fastest way is, from Barajas following indications and taking A6 freeway (La Coruna), leaving it more or less in kilometer 100 and taking N-501 state road in direction to Avila. From Avila, following the same N-501 until Salamanca.
