This is certainly the most effective type of accommodation, because the student can learn Spanish language and Spanish customs and traditions at the same time. The fact of having the opportunity to practice the language with Spanish speaking people also outside the class is extremely challenging, especially for listening and speaking skills.

The student has a single or double room in the family house and can choose between half or full board. He/she will have the home keys, which will give him/her a complete freedom to get in and out the house at any time. However, the student will have to respect the habits of the family and of Spanish culture in general, which should be taken as an opportunity and not as a disadvantage.
